Billy Lee Perry


August 7, 1934 - April 1, 2007


Billy Lee Perry, 72, of Cyclone, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 1, 2007, in CAMC General Division in Charleston following a long illness.


Born August 7, 1934, in Logan County, he was a son of the late Elmer Perry and Minnie Blankenship. Also preceding him in death was a son, Harvey Lee Perry, and a grandson, Robert Lane Perry Jr.


Billy was raised by his stepfather, Robert Evans, and was a member of Lacoma Baptist Church. He was also a member of UMWA Local 7604. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in the yard and taking care of his roses. He thoroughly enjoyed cutting up with his grandchildren.


Survivors include his wife, Dorislene Osborne Perry; a son, Robert Lane Perry Sr., at home; three daughters, Kahty (Larry) Browning of Cyclone, Daisy (Gary) Morgan of Oceana and Cindy (Rev. Cecil) Bartrum of Man; two brothers, Charles Evans of Cyclone, and Clarence "Pete" Evans of Matheny; a sister, Helen Daniels of Neibert; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
